Tinker Foundation Summer Research Presentations is an all day event having three sessions from 9:00am-10:20am, 10:40am-12:20pm and 2:00pm-4:20pm.

Presentations range from topics in anthropology, history, ecology, veterinary medicine, biochemisty, international agricultural development, agricultural and resource economics, land air and water resources surrounding Latin America. Please join us in this wonderful opportunity to learn from graduate student research that offers new and exciting knowledge and perspectives on Latin America. 

Light refreshments will be provided.

The Hemispheric Institute on the Americas is an interdisciplinary group bringing together faculty and graduate students that focus on the study of transnational processes in the American Hemisphere.

Our Goal includes promoting research to challenge the boundaries of disciplinary specialization and culture area studies, exploring the connections throughout the social, cultural, and economic landscape of the Western Hemisphere from an array of perspective and redirecting and redefining the study of Latin America from a broadly hemispheric viewpoint.
