El Comité (Ecuador,
2005)
Documentary film followed by Q & A with producer Jorge Nuñez Vega. This documentary narrates the takeover of a prison in Quito, Ecuador. It puts the takeover in context, introducing the viewer to the inmates and everyday life in the prison. No one seems to be responsible and there are no clear solutions, but the system is nevertheless destroying human beings.
